At Ottawa BinWorks, we specialize in crafting high-quality 140-litre bins.
Our bins are made from specialized high-density polyethylene (HDPE), designed to endure the harshest winters and hottest summers!
Our bins are designed in accordance with the City of Ottawa’s new waste management regulations, so you can rest assured that your waste disposal solutions are both effective and up to date with the latest standards.
Each bin comes with a removable lid for added convenience and flexibility, making them perfect for all your disposal needs.
We are pleased to offer both pick-up and delivery options for your convenience. The timeframe for both services will remain week of December 1. For pick-up appointments, we will coordinate with you to ensure a smooth experience. The Lid: You have two options for using the lid: attach it with the included hinge pin for secure closure, or simply place it on top!
At Ottawa Binworks, we value our customers, and your feedback is essential to us! We needed a lid that offers both security and versatility—removable when needed, yet sturdy enough to stay in place.
For convenience, the hinge pin allow you to secure the lid but can be easily removed on garbage day, as shown in our video tutorial. If your bin is in a secure location like a garage, you can also just place the lid on top. The choice is yours!
The City of Ottawa requires lids to be completely removed on garbage collection days. For more information, please refer to the City’s waste management regulations.
The Capacity: 140 Litres
Our bin is built to provide a maximum capacity of 140 litres, as demonstrated in our simulation, comfortably holding at least four large bags of garbage. This generous space is ideal for managing household waste efficiently.
We also encourage our customers to make the most of this capacity by using it responsibly. Prioritize composting to reduce landfill waste and maximize the use of your compost bins. By doing so, you contribute to a cleaner environment while getting the most out of your bin.
