Yes, we have consulted with the City on the design, capacity, and other requirements. The City of Ottawa’s waste management team is aware of our bins and has provided input where necessary. Our goal is to create a product that is both user-friendly and compliant with local regulations. Please remember not to exceed 33 lbs when loading the bin and to completely remove the lid on garbage collection days.

How much does the bin weigh?

Are the lids removable?
Yes, the lid is fully removable. It also comes with a hinge option, which many of our customers requested. The two pins should be removed before garbage day to comply with City guidelines.

Is the bin capacity 140 litres?
